O'Hara sweeps Warrensburg

Coming off a week long break, the Celtic baseball team won a very important conference game 4-1 over the Warresnburg Tigers. This was O'Hara's second win and final game vs. Warrensburg this season. Cullen Rowland threw all seven innings allowing only one run. Many Warrensburg runners found the basepaths, but Rowland was able to shut down any hope from the Tigers. Senior catcher Joey Tucker came alive to the 2009 baseball season with an impressive 3-3 day at the plate with two RBI. Aaron Mitchell also had a productive 2-4 day at the plate. Freshman Jared Ginter reached base all three times with one hit and two base on balls. The Celtics are now 3-2 in conference and look to improve vs. Sedalia Smith-Cotton at Legacy today.
